We’ve also just done TONS of markdowns
on new fall arrivals, so there are still plenty of great finds waiting for you.

And we have some exciting news on the
business side… we are actively working with a buyer, and we are SUPER excited
about the possibilities! Our hope is that Walk In Closet can continue and that
all of you will keep shopping, supporting and loving this little store that has
meant so much to so many of us. Nothing is final just yet, but we are feeling
very hopeful. ❤️

After 27 years of running Walk In
Closet, I’m starting to look toward my next adventure and would love to find a
great company with good benefits, good people and a Monday–Friday opportunity.
If you hear of a position or know someone I should connect with, send those
leads my way, too! You never know who might know somebody who knows somebody! 😉
A quick note for our consignors: We are working hard to clean up our
books and prepare for a smooth transition to a potential new owner. Because of
this, we are strongly encouraging all consignors to stop in and pick up any
outstanding funds by October 18, 2026.
If you have active items currently in
the store, you will still be able to access your funds as those items sell.
October 18 is simply our target date for getting as many accounts settled as
possible before the potential transition.
As always, any new updates we post
will be via email and on our socials. You can check your account via the
Established consignors tab with the email we have on file, and a code sent to it. Or you
can text your name and account number to 859-581-0222 Better yet stop in to see
us this is great time to make a Closet run and take it home!

The outpouring of love, support and
emotion over these last few weeks since we made our announcement has been
incredibly heartfelt and, honestly, overwhelming in the very best way. After 27
years, it has been so meaningful to hear your stories, read your messages and
realize just how much this little business has meant to our community.
We are so proud that Walk In Closet
became more than just a place to buy and sell clothes. It became a place where
friendships were made, memories were created, milestones were celebrated and
people truly felt at home.
Although our journey may be moving
into different avenues, we will always treasure every person we encountered
through Walk In Closet and the friendships that came along with it.
So please… keep shopping, keep
spreading the word and keep making those last Closet runs! 💚

CLOSET 💕
After 27 amazing years, we have some important news to share with our Walk in
Closet family.
🏠 OUR BUILDING HAS SOLD
We are currently working to find a buyer for
Walk in Closet so that this
business we have loved for 27 years can continue. If interested email
brandi1034@yahoo.com
Our hope is that Walk in
Closet will find a new owner and this chapter will continue!
But if we are unable to find a buyer,
we will begin liquidating the store
around November 14.

honestly, I don’t want this
chapter to end.
For 27 years, this little store has
been so much more than a business. It has been a part of this community, a
place where friendships were made, closets were refreshed, treasures were

to sell your items and make
the most of these next few months. We

We are no longer accepting new consignment
appointments or consignments.
👜 RECENTLY DROPPED OFF ITEMS?
If you have recently brought items in
and would prefer to have them back, you are absolutely welcome to pick them up.
Please:
1. Bring a bag
2. Gather your items from
the sales floor.
3. Bring everything to
the front counter
We will properly remove the items from
our computer system for you.
📋 OUR NORMAL CONSIGNMENT POLICIES
REMAIN IN PLACE
For items currently on consignment,
our normal consignment
policies will continue to apply.
Items that reach the end of their
consignment period will roll over into the store’s inventory, as they have for the past 27 years.
Once items become store inventory, we
reserve the right to donate or dispose of items as we see fit, according to our normal policies.
